Spaghetti time

We finally braved spaghetti for dinner - I know, I know, he's almost 2 and he's just now getting to have this fun. I guess I've just not wanted to deal with the possible mess that comes with this adventure, but last night I changed my mind. He was quite confused why he was getting undressed in the kitchen, but he was wearing white and I wasn't taking chances. At first he just played with his fork and tried to pick up a big piece of meat. He finally decided to try this funny stuff...and he liked it (as I knew he would - he loves anything tomato based just like his mama!). He ate it all - one noodle at a time. It was the longest I have seen anyone take at eating spaghetti. Clay gave him a piece of turkey as well because he feared J was burning off all the calories he was eating because he was working so hard. I must say the mess was minimal because he did eat it one noodle at a time, but this is not a meal we'll try if we have to be somewhere at a certain time! I had to take a couple of pictures of course...
